Holidaze Villas - Terms & Conditions

Damage/Security Deposits: Damage/Security deposits are fully refundable within 15 days of your
departure, provided there has been no damage or breakage, no discovered missing items, no additional
cleaning warranted as a result of the villa/s being left in an extraordinarily dirty condition or no
outstanding charges after your stay has been concluded. All normal utilities, except for careless or
extremely excessive use of the water supply are included in your rental price. You will be deemed liable
to pay for the cleaning or replacement costs for all damages to personal property or to the real estate,
which may occur as a result of your occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Locked pantries and
closets are reserved for the use of the villa owner and are not included in this rental. You are therefore
required to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your family and other guests in your party adhere to
conditions set forth regarding your stay at Holidaze Villas.
Smoking: Smoking is NOT allowed inside the villas. Evidence of smoking inside will result in a $300
smoke remediation charge which will be deducted from your damage/security deposit. Littering of the
premises with cigarettes butts is also not allowed.
Liability: As transportation (airlines, ferries, charter vessels, rental cars and taxis) is supplied by
providers who operate independently of Holidaze Villas, Holidaze Villas assumes no responsibility or
liability for property loss or damages, or liability for injury, accidents, delay, or irregularity which may
occur either by reason of defect in any vehicle or the acts of any company or persons engaged in
conveying passengers to or from Holidaze Villas. In addition, guests are responsible for safeguarding
themselves and personal property while in and away from the villa during occupancy by ensuring all
windows and doors are securely locked. Swimming pools can be potentially dangerous. Close
supervision of children and non-swimmers is strongly advised as Holidaze Villas assumes no
responsibility for harm or injury as a result of negligence or poor judgement.
Maintenance Issues: Holidaze Villas shall make every effort to keep the property and its inventories in
good working condition. Rearranging the furniture or removing any items from the villa is prohibited.
All villas are fully furnished, including an ample supply of bed linens and towels for Guests’ use.
In the event of a maintenance problem, we will make every effort to rectify the problem as soon as
possible after being notified. We reserve the right to be allowed up to 24 hours to adequately deal with
a reported problem. However, no refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen mechanical
failures such as the supply of electricity, telephone service, internet service, water, pool filtration
systems, air conditioning, television service, appliances, etcetera. It is the renter’s obligation to
IMMEDIATELY report any problems or damage to us regarding their villa. Holidaze Villas reserves the
right to enter your villa to perform any repairs as necessary.
Check-In and Check-out Times: Standard check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. An
earlier check-in time (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm) is available only as availability allows and cannot be
guaranteed until the day before.
Third Party Service Providers: Guests or their agents may not directly engage any third-party service
provider, such as caterers, private chef services, entertainers, repair workers or trades person to work
on the premises of the villa without the prior written approval from Holidaze Villas.
Drugs and Hazardous Materials: Guests are prohibited from bringing any illegal substances, inflammable
fluids (e.g., gasoline, kerosene, naphtha or benzene), or other explosives or articles deemed hazardous
to life, limb or property to Holidaze Villas.
Villa Keys: Keys will be at Holidaze Villas on arrival and are expected to be left in the same location upon
departure. A replacement fee of $10 will be charged for each set of lost or damaged keys.

Capacity of Villas: The total number of persons allowed in the villa at any one time is restricted to the
number of persons scheduled and paid for based on two persons per bedroom. At the time of booking,
all villa guests are required to provide Holidaze Villas with the full names of all guests staying in the villa,
and ages (ages at the time of travel) for all children under 18 years accompanying the adults in the
rental party.
Villa Atmosphere & Events: Holidaze Villas’ aim is to help you relax, unwind and rejuvenate. We
therefore promote a family atmosphere for the peaceful enjoyment of our guests. We rent to family
groups and responsible adults only; absolutely NO house parties, commercial uses or functions such as
weddings are allowed without advance WRITTEN permission from Holidaze Villas. Guests shall be
sufficiently quiet so as not to disturb other residents of the neighborhood especially after 11 pm at
night. If it is found that a wedding or any sort of group gathering for more persons than officially
scheduled and paid for at the villa, and/or without Holidaze Villas’ advance written permission, the
entire security is subject to forfeiture.
Rates and Publishing / Printing Errors: Holidaze Villas is not responsible for printing or publishing errors,
inadvertent omissions, or for the content on any other web site. All rates and villa details are subject to
change without prior notice; however, your rate at the time of your booking will stand should there be
any changes. Our web site www.holidazevillasbvi.com is your source of our most current villa
information.
Settlement of Disputes: This Vacation Rental Confirmation becomes a binding agreement when you
send us your rental deposit. Your sending of payment in response to this invoice constitutes your
agreement and acceptance of the terms, conditions, limitations and restrictions as outlined above. If you
have any questions or concerns, please contact us before you send us your rental deposit.
If any dispute arises out of this rental agreement, the laws of the British Virgin Islands shall apply and
the prevailing party shall recover its costs, expenses and reasonable attorneys’ fees accordingly.
Pertinent Information to Note!
ARRIVAL ON ISLAND - We will need to know your airline FLIGHT NUMBER, ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
TIMES at least one (1) week before you travel to the British Virgin Islands. It is advised that you travel
with your list of island contact numbers in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. If your flight is
delayed or cancelled while in transit, you are REQUIRED to contact your Holidaze Villas representative so
we can notify everyone involved.
IF YOU ARE AN AMERICAN CITIZEN YOUR CURRENT U.S. PASSPORT IS REQUIRED TO GAIN
ENTRY BACK INTO THE UNITED STATES.
Vehicle Rental: Assistance can be provided in renting a vehicle for you and your party while in the
British Virgin Islands. It is strongly advised that you secure a 4WD/AWD vehicle to traverse the island’s
terrain during your stay. We can help you with your arrangements.
Arrival to Your Villa: You will be met upon arrival at the airport or ferry dock by a designated taxi
driver and taken to the villa, or if you choose, when you arrive, you will be met with your vehicle rental
and subsequently escorted to Holidaze Villas by our representative from an agreed upon meet up point.
Upon arrival, you will be given the villa keys and a tour of the property to help get you familiarized and
settled in your villa. You will also be given an island orientation to help you get around in the days
ahead.

Maid Service: General cleaning and tidying of villa, including laundry of bed linen and towels will be
provided once a week. Any additional cleaning requirements will incur a charge of $75 per visit.

Advanced Grocery Shopping: Arrangements can be made to stock the villa with your preferred foods
and beverages ahead of your arrival. Your villa representative will liaise with you regarding this
arrangement.
